Bygone DVDs
Our Bygone Films series is a collection of retail DVDs for local families and schools. The series shows your home town as it used to be…usually from about the 1920s to the 1970s. The films, from a variety of sources, are black and white or colour cine reels from 8mm, 9.5 mm, and 16mm formats transferred by us to modern video formats. The wide variety of action seen is all interepreted and narrated for today’s audiences.
The DVDs are searched by menu so viewers can easily return to a favourite item. Great for families ! Great for local schools ! Great for those researching family history !
The series can also be of particular interest to educational media projects and programmes dealing with town planning and regeneration issues.
